Our Story
We can say that Vintage Kombucha was born simultaneously with a life-altering event, the birth of a healthy baby girl. A lot of changes took place after that. One of those changes was the idea to share our passion for kombucha with the local community allowing us to be home more often for our daughter.
One day, a friend gave us a SCOBY (Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeast) as a birthday present for the whole family. Brewing tips were shared, along with all the necessary items needed to brew Kombucha, with the hope of giving us a lifetime gift that was both refreshing and beneficial to our family. Soon after that, we embarked in our own “symbiotic” journey of parenthood and brewing kombucha while juggling in between our regular work schedules and lifestyle.
The result was a delicious brew that is hand made and fermented in small batches with attention to detail and quality. Every batch is done with the best and freshest local ingredients that we can find so we can keep the tradition of brewing kombucha the old fashion way; The Vintage Way.
